One Day Workshop on the implementation of National Educational Policy

TSSM's BSCOER organized and conducted a one day workshop "Engineering Odyssey - Career Approach" on 15th June 2024 at Cygnet Hall 10.30AM for the aspiring Engineering students and parents. Chief Guest and Expert Dr. A. G. Kharat delivered a lecture on NEP. Dr. G. A. Hinge, Principal and  DR. R. S. Karale, HOD Civil gave inputs about Career guidance.

Chief Guest Dr. A. G. Kharat explained that National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP) envisions a massive transformation in education through– “an education system rooted in Indian ethos that contributes directly to transforming India, that is Bharat, sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high quality education to all. Its foundation is laid on a principle emphasizing that education must develop cognitive capabilities like vital thinking and problem-solving and social, ethical, and emotional abilities and qualities.

Dr. G. A. Hinge Principal,BSCOER delivered a speech regarding need of practical knowledge and importance of core branches of engineering. With the help of videos of our alumnus students he explained the students and parents the importance of practical knowledge and critical thinking.

Dr. R. S. Karale delivered a detailed presentation about career guidance. It included the complete incite about all branches of engineering’ its scope and application.

Around 70+ students and parents registered for the workshop. Faculty members (Teaching and non teaching) also attended the workshop.
