Principal Message

Dear Students,

It gives me an immense pleasure to welcome you to TSSM’s Bhivarabai Sawant College of Engineering and Research, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and governed by The Shetkari Shikshan Mandal (TSSM), a sister concern of Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, (JSPM, Pune). We believe in the fact that “Education is a journey from Information to Knowledge and from Knowledge to Wisdom. The Engineering graduate should be capable to apply knowledge to real time Engineering Problems and provide solutions which are technically sound and economically viable. Only creative minds can accomplish this task.

Therefore we endeavor to “Empower Creativity through Technical Excellence” among our students. This helps a lot for all-round development of students. Presently the Institute is offering five undergraduate courses, five post graduate courses and Ph. D. program in Civil Engineering and four diploma level courses. The Institute has 79 laboratories with state of the art equipments. The biggest strength of Institute is the faculty (with 13 Ph.D.s, 7 Pursuing). The Institute is committed to produce Engineers with multidimensional personality. We facilitate our students to excel academically and to develop their personalities in all above diverse fields. Our qualified and dedicated faculty has a passion to pass on this enthusiasm to each student and to inculcate the spirit of curiosity and learning. The students are encouraged to focus on their strengths and to develop confidence. I assure you that every student will have comfortable stay in our campus and will reach to new height of excellence.
