STUDENT SERVICES

1. EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Cell )

The aim of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Computer Engineering Department, is to develop and strengthen entrepreneurial qualities in the budding professionals who are interested in starting their own ventures. The College provides infrastructure and technical support to the students having innovative ideas to transform into new products and services for the betterment of the society. The EDC also assists all the aspirants with mentoring, planning and execution of their start up idea into a real business.

 

2. III(Industry Institute Interaction)

III encourages forging a relationship between the industry and the institute. Department interacts with industry to ascertain its needs to fill the gap in the curriculum.

 

3. Professional Skill Development

Department runs various Skill Development programs in collaboration with Industries for better placement and to become Industry ready.

 

4. Zensar ESD Program

Zensar ESD had conducted 200 Hrs. technical training program and started our student placement from 2012. Zensar conducts Pre assessment test of students in the form of aptitude, group discussion, and technical interview followed by personal interview. The Shortlisted students are trained by expert faculty from Zensar.

 

5. FACE Training-

It has conducted Group Discussion, PI and technical things of students.

 

6. CSI

Department organizes enrichment program through professional student chapter such asCSI.The motto is to create awareness in the budding engineers on the latest technological innovation and networking with the peers.

 

7. Department Library

Department is served as a resource center for teaching staff and students by providing knowledge through both in the form of print and digital books and journals. Library intends to incorporate the latest technology & adopt user friendly towards students and faculty. Library includes academic as well as civil services books like MPSC,UPSC etc. it also includes general aptitude books, puzzles, personality development books as they are useful for Training and placement activity.Library also provides E-resources.

 

8. E-Learning Platform

Department provide e-learning platform like MOODLE. Students can access digital content of the courses they are enrolled for, from Institute cloud server anywhere and anytime. Along with Moodle Department has it’s own YouTube Channel where Faculty members upload there recorded video Lectures of Theory as well as practical for student access beyond College hours.

 

9. Lab As Museum

Department is having lab as a Museum over there students can perform their projects based on IoT domain. Now a day’s IoT is important domain as it is having various applications in the area of industry, home automation, farming, medical etc.

 

10. GFM Services

Department has guardian faculty member (GFM) activity this helps in monitoring the students’ extracurricular activity and his/her academic performance. Counselling is a strong activity carried out by GFM. Parental counselling is also done in some cases. Counselling has brought in wonderful results– like, relief from peer fear, more understanding of one’s own talent and weakness, remedial measures for personal problems, strong bonding between faculty and students.

 

11. News Convey System For Student

A. Google Groups: to convey academic information we formed google groups for SE,TE and BE student separately so faculty can upload study material important notices on it.
B. MOODLE: students are enrolled on moodle so student can get all study material like assignments, notes, ppts, tests, test schedule etc through it. and student can access this data from any where .
C. Whatsapp group: We are also using social media for communication purpose. We have created division wise whatsapp groups so we can share all information to the students
